Jira Integrations
Introduction:
The integration of Jira with Worxmate offers a powerful solution for managing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) while leveraging task and project management data within Jira. This integration enables businesses to seamlessly align their OKR tracking with project execution, allowing for real-time insights into team performance and progress. This guide will walk you through configuring the integration and setting up automated updates for your OKRs based on your Jira data.
By connecting Jira with Worxmate, you can:
- Track OKRs related to project milestones, sprint completion, and task execution using Jira’s detailed project management tools.
- Automatically update key results based on real-time task and project progress within Jira.
- Align cross-functional teams with company-wide objectives by syncing project workflows with strategic goals.
- Generate insightful reports that combine OKR progress with task and project metrics tracked in Jira.
Log in to Worxmate
Access your Worxmate account by entering your credentials.
Navigate to Integration Settings
Once logged in, proceed to the settings menu and select the integration section.
Activate Jira Integration
Locate the toggle button for Jira integration and switch it to the “on” position.
Configure Jira Connection
Open the Jira application and input the following details:
Admin Email: Your Jira admin email address
Jira API Token: Your unique API token for authentication
Subdomain: The subdomain of your Jira instance
Select Reporting Period and KPIs
Choose the desired reporting period and key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to your integration, then click “Submit.”
Link Key Results (KRs)
Click the link button to associate the selected key results with your integration.
Now, the key results are successfully linked to your Jira integration.
Here are the KPIs supported for Jira:
Jira KPI | Description |
Tasks | Average number of tasks completed for a Jira epic by dividing finished tasks by total assigned tasks. |
Tasks % | Percentage of tasks completed for a Jira epic by dividing finished tasks by total assigned tasks and multiplying by 100 |
Epic Story Points | How many story points you’ve completed for a Jira epic by dividing completed story points by total assigned story points.

Epic Story Points % | Percentages of stories completed for a Jira epic by dividing finished story points by total stories and multiplying by 100. |
Tasks Hours | The progress percentage by dividing hours spent on completed tasks by total planned hours. |
Tasks Hours % | The progress percentage by dividing hours spent on completed tasks by total planned hours and multiplying by 100.
