Excel Online Integration with Worxmate
Introduction:
The integration of Excel Online with Worxmate offers a flexible solution for managing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) while leveraging data stored in Excel spreadsheets. This integration allows businesses to seamlessly align their data tracking and analysis with their overall strategic objectives. This guide will walk you through the process of configuring the integration and setting up automated check-ins for your OKRs based on your Excel Online data.
By connecting Excel Online with Worxmate, you can:
- Track OKRs related to budget management, project timelines, and performance metrics using Excel spreadsheets
- Automatically update key results based on real-time data from Excel Online
- Align various teams with company-wide objectives using easily accessible and organized data
- Generate insightful reports that combine OKR progress with metrics tracked in Excel Online

1. Authentication
Configuring MS-EXCEL Integration in Worxmate :
Log in to your Worxmate account
Navigate to the main menu and select “Settings”
In the Settings menu, locate the “Integrations” section
Find and click on the Excel Online integration option
Adding the Connection:
Click on the “Configure” button for Excel Online
Now you need to select the email of which you want to add connection
You see a Microsoft consent box
After Allowing the prompt then you will redirect to worxmate application, and you can see your connection has been added
2. Auto check-in
Now select okr page and add key-result:
A drawer will option and select Excel Online from dropdown:
After that select the spreadsheet, sheet, column and row as per user after that click on preview button to view your current value for that specific selected sheet
After clicking on preview, you can see the value and then click on checkbox which says check-in with current value and click on save button to check-in with that value:
After clicking on save it will as for check-in click on yes to checkin
After that you will see the check-in on your KR
